Description: This group ride is a mixture of intermediate to advanced skill levels. If you are a beginner try Springhill on Thursdays.

In the later part of the year (mid September) it gets dark early and lights are required. Lights are just as important as the helmet on your head. You need to get a good light that will last the entire ride and provide enough quality light that you can ride safely. AFF Members we have lights available just ask! COME JOIN US.

Springhill Thursday Beginner Group Ride
When: Every Thursday, 6pm – till complete (with good trail conditions).
Where: 1700 Lock And Dam Road Barling, AR 72923 (map)
Description: Springhill is the states best beginner rated mountain bike trail. Springhill is suited for the individual who is out for their first group ride to the more experienced. Springhill has many areas to ride. You can ride in a more open area with easy trails or you can ride winding switchbacks passing over a barrage of features. The MTB trails are well maintained and fun for all rider abilities.
Pavilions, Grills, RV, Camping, Bathrooms & Showers are available.
Every Thursday at 6:00 pm (with agreeable weather conditions) there is a group ride. The main trail head by the bathrooms and boy-scout area is where everyone meets. This group ride is a mixture of all skill levels. This ride has been traditionally organized by FOORC.

Along with lights we always recommend lots of water. In March it gets darker later and lights are not required till the clocks change again.
